I went with Phonak to replace my Widex because they’re the only ones with extensive line of ALD’s.
Seems to be a good thought over idea. Give it a try and be happy with it. As you will never know which parameters have to and can be further tuned there will always be uncertainty.
As stated in many responses over here your choice in any case is one of the best at the moment.
My Widex experiences where possibly good for music but not as good as Phonak for speech understanding next to the availability of the additional hearing listening devises offered. The Starkey did a good job also but I did not have the chance to try them with the Starkey table mic.
