I currently have the Costco KS8.0. They are Ok. But I would love to have HA’s that are rechargeable. I do a lot of streaming on line so need to make sure that the charge lasts a long time. I am concerned that the KS10s might not stay charged long enough. The Rexton one sold by Costco seem to have a much longer charge capacity. Anyone try these yet?

I haven’t tried those though I have the jabra and Philips. The issue is that you exchange bt for battery and there is no way around it. The ks10 (and phonak it’s based on) is the only one that will connect to any device as a bt device and use the mic in the HA. However that comes at a significant battery life cost. I’d suggest trying to see if it’s enough. I have the jabras and although I cannot connect to a computer, I can use a multi mic to stream from computer to ha. Then I need a mic to transmit back.

On a side note - I used to use earbuds for zoom and such constantly. I use off name brands that look like airpods (don’t go all the way into the ear) and since the jabras have a mic in the ear they actually work really well oddly enough

The others will do iOS and Android. And some bluetooth dongles.

This from Costco on those Bi-core Rexton

These hearing aids offer direct streaming to your iPhone and ASHA-compatible Android phone.

These use ASAH as well for calls/media right? Or just phone calls?

On my Jabras (since returned), my Android phone would use ASHA to stream phone calls (the callers voice), audiobooks, music, etc., to the Jabras I don’t remember if I ever got them to work with Spotify. Couldn’t stream from my MacBook, but could stream from my iPad.

@tenkan for streaming, yes they will. However the op wanted to have full bt - sound and mic (at least that was my understanding). That can only be done with the ks10, unless you have other hardware, and honestly that can be annoying.

Yeah I missed that point, and yes it can be annoying having to use yet another device just to stream good quality media/music, I do use them myself (resound remote mic and Signia streamline mic) these are pretty small and hardly noticeable, but still another dam device to charge!

Thanks for the good input.

The Rexton HAs at Costco claim approx 20 hrs with 5 hours of streaming on a full charge.
Btw. … The KS10 claims 20 hours with some??? streaming time.

My current KS8 HAs work really well with my iPhone and iPad. I get about 2-3 days on a set of batteries. Again I do a lot of streaming.

I’d prefer to keep it simple and not have 2 Bluetooth devices to deal with. Oh well.
