From what I can see, it is still active and currently in Detroit. CSL I believe is still owned by Paul Martin a former prime minister of Canada. He is known for registering his ships in foreign countries so he can avoid Canadian taxes. This one looks like a laker boat and may actually be registered in Canada…

That link says it is Canadian, but that flag in the photo is certainly not Canadian…

That is a strange flag. CSL Tadoussac is an old ship, launched in 1969, and since it took until 1965 for youse guys to hoist the Maple Leaf Flag, maybe they just made up their own flag???

Or maybe if the country of origin needed to be obfuscated then this specially designed flag would be what was needed???

Oh, I think I get it now. The company CSL/Canada Steamship Lines has its own flag/Logo.
