How much gain increase is perceviable for profound losses?
I increased gain in the automatic program in naida paradise up by 1 step for both sides. It made a difference. Is this a 1 decibel increase? Is this 2 decibels gain in bilateral hearing?

Gain is not the same for everyone that’s in a profound range.
Profound starts at 90 dB and goes to 120 dB so depending on where you are, in that range will depend.
Also it also depends on what fitting formula you use so again, we wouldn’t be able to tell you.
Have a look at the software and see what happens when you change fitting formulas! All of the questions you’re asking can be found out from the software that you have!
Most of your loss is in the severe range so you wouldn’t have as much gain as someone completely in the profound range.
Yes most of your loss is in the severe range.
Some frequencies are in the moderately severe and some are in profound but most are in severe.
